Certificate Requirements
Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity
- Undergraduate-level knowledge on data structures, computer organization, algorithms, and operating systems
- Undergraduate-level knowledge on statistics and discrete mathematics
- Undergraduate-level skills on the Linux operating system and shell scripts
- Undergraduate-level programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- A completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
- Statement of goals/purpose: share your professional and personal goals
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- For international applicants or applicants whose native language is not English, please review the English Proficiency requirement
Note: A Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for admission into the online Cybersecurity program
Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity
This certificate program requires four online graduate-level courses:
- CSCI560 Fundamentals of Computer Networks
- CSCI574 Theory of Cryptography
- CSCI585 Information Security and Privacy
- CSCI587 Cyber Physical Systems Security
