Online students have access to a range of academic services and resources to support their academic success while attending Mines.
Tutoring and Academic Advising
Students can receive academic advising and tutoring as needed, through the appropriate academic department, research teams, advisor, colleagues and offerings (where available) in the department.
Software
The Colorado School of Mines has access to many software titles. That software is available to the Mines community in accordance with the license agreement for each package. The ITS Software Index was created to organize and catalog software and license information.
Writing Center
The Writing Center at Mines provides free professional one-on-one tutoring to members of the CSM community to assist them with any writing or communication project that is at any stage of the process. Both in-person and online tutoring appointments are available. To visit the Writing Center, please go to our online scheduler.
Mines Bookstore
The Bookstore provides full services to all online students, including but not limited to, course-material procurement and book procurement.
Arthur Lakes Library
The Arthur Lakes Library is the collaborative partner and intellectual nexus that bridges disciplines and communities across the Mines campus. As a student at Mines, you can receive online library support by accessing LibGuides, Ask a Librarian and FAQs.
