Kathleen Kelly

Teaching Associate Professor, Computer Science

Kathleen Kelly is a new hire at the Colorado School of Mines. She will be devoting her work to teaching full-time, a career change she has been aspiring towards.

Kathleen earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Loyola University in New Orleans and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She has been a professional software engineer for the past 24 years while also serving as an adjunct professor at various colleges including UCF an Seminole Community College in Orlando, Mesa College in San Diego, and Arapahoe Community College in Littleton. Her industry experience includes game programming PlayStation I games (n-Space, Inc.), music software development (MusicMatch, later acquired by Yahoo!), and network security software (ProtectWise, later acquired by Verizon).
